Winner of the Mayors Urban Design award 2019

Ice Tower – Edmonton

Standing at an impressive 69 storeys (251m), the Stantec Tower is Western Canada’s tallest building. Igloo played a key role in its construction by installing an Alpolic composite panel feature wall from level 30 all the way up to level 68, with the panels reaching a height of 241m.

Inside the building, the lobby boasts an exceptional design, featuring a unique 4-story custom terracotta baguette wall, made of Tonality clay tiles, as well as massive 5-story architectural composite panel columns and pedways. The lobby’s interior design is truly one of a kind, adding to the already impressive stature of the Stantec Tower.

Calgary Airport Casino

The Calgary Airport Casino is a stunning new addition to the Calgary. The casino features an impressive array of materials, including Kingspan IMP panels, ABET Laminati Phenolic printed panels, and 3D ACM panels fabricated by Igloo Erectors. The use of these materials creates a visually striking façade that sets the casino apart from the surrounding buildings. The Kingspan IMP panels offer excellent insulation properties, while the ABET Laminati Phenolic printed panels provide a durable and weather-resistant surface. The 3D ACM panels add depth and texture to the design, creating a unique and dynamic look.
